⚾ Behind the Scenes of a Championship Season

Earlier this summer, our team assisted the A. Bartlett Giamatti Little League Leadership Training Center in Bristol, CT with the relocation of furniture, beds, and other essential items between buildings on the Edgewood School campus. After assisting with the move last year, we returned to help transition items back into the Giamatti facility, ensuring everything was in place and ready to support the organization and the community it serves.

As another exciting championship season comes to a close, we're proud to support an organization that brings together athletes, families, and visitors from across the region while creating lasting memories both on and off the field.

A great example of teamwork in action!

Several years ago, Meyer removed and placed a vehicle lift into storage as part of a facility transition at Greens Farms Academy, a private Pre-K-12 college preparatory school in Westport, CT.

Recently, our team was called back to retrieve the lift components, transport them to a new location, and complete the reassembly and installation.

Thanks to the collaboration between Meyer's Rigging and Commercial teams, the project was completed safely and successfully, giving the equipment a second life in its new home.

Meyer recently completed a multi-location move project for Bond Vet, supporting facility transitions at one of their Manhattan, NY locations as well as facilities in Woodbury, NY, Florham Park, NJ, and Narberth, PA. Through detailed planning and coordinated ex*****on, our team successfully relocated customer-packed contents and designated medical equipment, helping ensure a smooth transition across all three facilities.

This project is a great example of the specialized logistics and move management services Meyer brings to healthcare and veterinary environments every day.

Last week, Meyer hosted clients and team members at Polar Park in Worcester, MA, for a memorable evening of baseball, networking, and appreciation as the WooSox took on the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. ⚾

When UConn's renowned Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry needed to relocate their collection, they trusted Meyer with over 2,000 irreplaceable cultural artifacts—handcrafted puppets and masks from performance traditions around the world.

This wasn't standard moving. Every piece required preservation-grade handling, careful packing protocols, and teams who understood that these aren't just objects—they're stories, traditions, and educational treasures.

A recent 12-day project had our team relocating specialized manufacturing equipment out of a second-floor window for Rhody Rug. We safely removed braiding machines, sewing machines, and accessories, loaded them onto our trucks, transported them 30 miles, and placed them in their new company shop.

Proud to help preserve American manufacturing and support a company that has been crafting Made-in-the-USA braided rugs since 1987.
