❄🚨 Driver Advisory. Winter Storm Impact. 🚨❄
We’re sharing this not for engagement, but for awareness.
According to AccuWeather, a high-impact winter storm is expected to affect a large portion of the U.S., from Texas through the Midwest and into the Northeast. Snow, ice, and rapidly changing road conditions are expected across major freight corridors.
To our drivers. And to everyone involved in route planning:
- Re-check routes before departure. Do not rely on assumptions.
- Expect closures, delays, rolling slowdowns, and chain restrictions.
- Yard conditions, ramps, and shoulders may be worse than main lanes.
- If conditions don’t feel right. Stop. No load is worth pushing through ice.
At Triple Eight Express, safety decisions override schedules and delivery pressure. That applies to our team and should apply across the industry.
If you’re dispatching, planning, or driving this weekend. Build margin. Communicate early. Adjust expectations.
Stay alert. Stay safe.
