Depart Virginia Beach. Offshore at 0700 nice weather seas less than 1’. Next stop Roanoke Island. 1st settlement in America (Debatable). Oregon Inlet by 1030. Docked for lunch. Thanks to Hatteras Yachts.
Good times, good trip, no events. Headed back to Fla. to enjoy some heat before the ship.

Day 1: Fly out PBI to Salisbury, MD. Travel to Ocean City rendezvous with vessel at Sunset Marina. Underway at 1 pm for an early start on the voyage. Cold front behind us with headwinds building. 6 pm Rudee Inlet Virginia Beach. Rudee’s restaurant and cabana club and tiki bar and gift store and marina and pirate ship. Rudee owns the place. Fun dining, low bridge 29.5’ at center had to lower non collapsible outriggers to the side to pass thru.
Tomorrow southbound for Cape a Hatteras. Cheers!
