Marine Seamstress

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Marine Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a strong understanding of fabric manipulation and attention to detail. Must be able to read a tape measure and to cut and sew straight and precise. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where creativity and precision are key to producing high-quality cushions and enclosures for boats. The Seamstress will be responsible for fabricating, sewing, and ensuring that all finished products meet our quality standards.

Duties

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to fabricate cushions according to specifications.
Perform tasks including cutting, stitching, and finishing.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet design specifications.
Maintain an organized workspace within the warehouse to ensure efficiency and safety.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the sewing process.
Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Requirements

Proven experience in sewing techniques.
Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Must speak English.
