For week 13 in the spot market, 3 of the 4 key market indicators decreased. What does that mean? And why should you care? 👇

1.) The overall Market Demand Index (MDI) fell 1.5 points to 71.7 as load availability decreased 5.2% and truck availability declined 3.2%.

2.) Compared to last year the MDI is up 12.3 points, or 20.7%.

3.) Last week, market rates rose 1.3% to $2.39. 📈

4.) Compared to last year, rates are down 3.7%.

5.) National fuel prices did not change $0.00 cents to $4.02 from $4.02 per gallon in the previous week. ⛽️
