A huge thank you to our students for their incredible generosity and hard work during this year’s coin drive! Organized by the Main Street School Wellness Team as part of a wellness challenge focused on gratitude and giving, students chose to support the Lake Shelbyville Fish Habitat Alliance. Together, they raised an amazing $2,823.22 to help support local fish habitat projects and conservation efforts. We are so proud of the kindness, teamwork, and community spirit our students continue to show!

Coal Shaft is now OPEN!

We appreciate everyone’s patience while we addressed some safety concerns with the road. Our team worked hard to improve access by shaving the road surface, clearing encroaching trees and vegetation, and widening it so two vehicles can safely pass.

Your favorite primitive ramp and bank fishing spot is ready for you again. Get out and enjoy it!

Water Safety Reminder: If you’re heading out on the water, please wear a properly fitted life jacket at all times. Conditions can change quickly, and wearing one could save your life.
