🚨 Rescue Alert 🚨 - Cassett, SC 🐕

Everyone meet Penny 🐾

We received the call from her parents after Penny and her brother decided to take a little stroll through the woods Friday afternoon. We arrived a few hours later after dark and immediately began searching for both of them. During the search, we got the call that her brother had been safely captured nearly 2 miles away, so we relocated and focused all efforts on finding Penny. After an extensive search that night, we determined the two had become separated.

By Monday, we received a sighting — this time Penny was spotted nearly 3 miles in the opposite direction from home. Once again, we loaded up after dark and returned to the area to begin another search. Within 30 minutes, we located her hunkered down deep in the woods. From there, we carefully pursued her and were able to make yet another successful rescue, reuniting Penny safely with her brother and loving parents. ❤️ 🐕

Thank you for trusting us when it matters most.

🚨 Client Follow-Up 🚨🦌

This one meant a little more. Congratulations again Wesson on a very nice buck! 🦌

Earlier this year, we helped a family recover a 5-year-old boy’s very first deer. Recently, his dad reached back out just to say thank you—and to share the deer after getting it back from the taxidermist.

That’s what it’s all about right there. Not just the recovery… but the memories that come with it. We’re beyond grateful to be trusted in these moments and to play even the smallest role in something that will stay with that young man forever.

We are the ones saying, THANK YOU ❤️

This was JoJo’s wild rescue 🐕

After 2 days alone in the dark, dealing with coyotes and everything the wilderness threw at him, he was deep in survival mode. Every attempt we made, he kept moving.
We had one last plan—push him to an island in the pond.

It worked exactly how we hoped… until JoJo decided to go for a swim.

In that moment, his owner didn’t hesitate. Pure instinct and bravery took over, and he went in after him.

That’s what it’s all about—never giving up. 🐾❤️

REMINDER FOR SC TURKEY HUNTERS: THE PRACTICE OR TECHNIQUE COMMONLY KNOWN AS “REAPING” IS UNLAWFUL AND PROHIBITED ON ALL LANDS STATEWIDE.

This law has generated numerous questions and some confusion among hunters. To help clarify things please read the following:

Reaping is defined in statute (SC Code of Laws 50-11-500) as STALKING A WILD TURKEY WHILE BEHIND A DECOY OR TAIL FAN. Tail fans include those made of real or synthetic feathers, or an image or likeness of a tail fan applied to any material. The key word is STALKING, meaning “sneaking, crawling, walking, creeping, etc.” behind a decoy or fan.

There is a similar turkey hunting technique called FANNING. Fanning is defined as hunting from a STATIONARY position while holding or using for concealment (hiding behind): a tail fan, decoy with a fan, or tail fan mounted to a firearm. Reaping is a stalking technique, fanning is a stationary technique.

1️⃣ Reaping is ILLEGAL on private land in SC.
2️⃣ Fanning is LEGAL on private land in SC.
3️⃣ Fanning & Reaping are both ILLEGAL on all Wildlife Management Area (WMA) lands in SC (this regulation has been in place since 2020).
4️⃣ Using any type of turkey decoy (hen, jake or gobbler) placed away from the hunter is still 100% LEGAL everywhere in SC.

Regardless of where you are hunting and what is legal, fanning and reaping are inherently dangerous techniques as you can be mistaken for a turkey by another hunter. Even on private land you should never assume you are alone. Poachers, trespassers or even other members of your hunting party can pose a risk. Transporting a decoy in & out of your hunting spot can also be dangerous if you do not use a bag or vest to completely conceal the decoy.

Be legal, be safe, and have a good hunting season! 🦃

🚨 Rescue Alert 🚨 - Columbia, SC 🐕

Meet JoJo, a gorgeous Australian Shepherd who managed to escape her owners and spent a couple of days on the run.

We arrived shortly after dark and immediately began searching the last known area. Within 30 minutes, we located JoJo hunkered down near a pond. Just seconds later, we picked up two more heat signatures moving quickly in her direction. It turned out to be a pack of coyotes closing in fast. They got within roughly 50 yards of her before we dropped the drone down on top of them and pushed them several hundred yards away from her location.

After that, the rescue effort became even more challenging. Between the 30+ mph winds, JoJo already being frightened, and the chaos of the situation, this was far from an easy recovery. We made several attempts to safely rescue her, but it quickly became clear we needed a different plan.
We landed, regrouped, and came up with a strategy to push JoJo toward a small island in the pond. It was truly a 50/50 chance whether it would work. Thankfully, the plan came together perfectly, and she moved onto the island thinking she would be trapped and stay put.

But JoJo had one more surprise for us—she decided to go for a swim. That still didn’t stop her heroic owner, who went in after her and was able to quickly and safely get her back to dry land.
We’re incredibly thankful to have been part of JoJo’s rescue.

Situations like these are a reminder that rescues are not always as easy as people may think. They can become hectic very quickly, and being able to adapt, work through obstacles, and stay focused on the outcome is what helps create these happy endings.

Welcome home, JoJo. 🐾🚁🐕

🚨 Rescue Alert 🚨 - Hartsville, SC 🐕

Say hello to the dynamic duo 🐾 Mr. Briar (black) and Mr. Marsh (brown) 💙💙

These two teamed up and plotted a Valentine’s Day escape 💘 and headed out on an unexpected adventure. A few hours later, their parents reached out after they still hadn’t come home, and we immediately loaded up and headed to the area.
Just minutes before arrival, Marsh was spotted crossing the road about a mile away and was quickly recovered 🙌
Briar was still on the move.

We set up and began our search, and within 30 minutes located Briar curled up in the darkness. It didn’t last long—he was back on his feet and bolted when approached. At that point, we switched to the herd method 🛸, using the drone to carefully push him exactly one mile back toward home.

As soon as he reached the front yard, he knew where he was ❤️ We pulled up and reunited Briar with his brother Marsh, ending this Valentine’s Day adventure with a safe and happy reunion 🏡🐕
Another successful rescue. Another family reunited.
