Ok, here we go, for everyone asking about the Fill the Truck...
Brandon and Cori from Giving Back started this effort, we jumped in to offer services. As of right now, there are 2 trucks going. My truck is basically going to be 45,000 of Drinking water. They are doing drop offs in the area this week to send a truck with supplies of all kinds leaving early the week of the 14th.
Our Friends at Members Advantage Credit Union have donated money for fuel for the trip.
Ascendance Truck Centers formerly Mid-State Truck Service is donating a brand new truck for me to drive/pull my trailer which we are trying to fill up with pallets of drinking WATER... this is the primary issue we are hearing on the ground as they are giving them an estimate of Mid-November for clean tap water.
Adam Conley and the rest of the Team at Vantage Logistics LLC is stepping up to FILL the trailer with the remaining pallets of water and provide the rest of the Fuel money as well as leading their own FILL The Truck drive.
TRICOR Insurance Derek Burnstad is buying 2 pallets of Water.
Our Friends in the Metropolis of Fenwood, FISCHER Truck and Bus are donating 2 pallets of WATER and FUEL money for the truck.
We are still accepting money for pallets of Water, if you wish to purchase a pallet ($300 from Stratford Foods) or just donate for the effort call me. Matt Pyburn 715-459-9271
Whatever cash is left we are giving to Seacoast Church of Ashville, NC to distribute as they see fit to those who are in the most need.
