Requirements/Skills:
• Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Spanish / English/ Chinese bilingual preferred
• Have the ability to work with drivers
• Have the ability to work with shippers and our customers
• Strong computer skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Coordinates timely and efficient routing and dispatching of trucks
• Works cooperatively with all agency departments to ensure transportation needs are met.
• Evaluates route effectiveness and adjusts routes as needed.
• Assists in maintenance tracking to ensure that the fleet is in good working order at all times
• Able to work independently in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Strong computer skills
• Have previous experience in dealing with large fleet trucking
• Have very good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to handle occasional heavy phone volume
• Be able to track drivers closely on deliveries and pick ups
• Be computer literate (Excel, Windows, Outlook)
• Be flexible to work as needed
• Possesses experience with data entry pertaining to dispatch information.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DOT's regulations regarding driver's hours of service both intrastate and interstate.
• Well organized
• Time management skills
• Able to communicate professionally and effectively
