Today we wrapped up our final day of ceramics summer camp! Our potluck was a blast, with pizza, music, and silliness.🍕
Thanks to generous donors, students throughout the summer were able to attend camp free of cost and enjoy delicious meals.

Our students made many incredible pieces including multiple spidey-themed projects!
Students created functional art as well, hand-building frog hotels and pollinator water station to create safe spaces for our smallest friends!🐸 🐝

These programs are the heart of Arivva and they mean so much to our students. Please consider donating at the link in our bio so we can continue to host free youth art programs. ❤️

A big thank you to Blue Zones Project Parkland-Spanaway for providing dinner tonight at Arivva.

Tonight’s meal was the Southwest Quinoa Salad, a delicious plant-based dish with quinoa, black beans, and fresh vegetables.

Food has a special way of bringing people together. Sharing a meal gives our students a chance to connect, build relationships, and feel part of a community.

Today, Arivva hosted its very first cooking class! Organized by Blue Zones Project Parkland-Spanaway and led by , we had a wonderful time learning how to make delicious dumplings together. It was a fun, hands-on experience filled with great food, learning, and community!

At Arivva, students created this ceramic bee drinking station inspired by blueberries. The raised ceramic blueberries give bees safe places to land while accessing shallow water, especially during hot summer days. This project connects ceramics, pollinator education, and Pierce County’s blueberry-growing community, while teaching students how bees support our local food system. Puget Sound Clean Air Agency
