I plan to be at Megacon on Feb 1-4!
I will be around the show, so feel free to look for me (I will be wearing a black CBCS shirt) or just contact me through FB message here or on my personal page (Stephen Bagley) if you’d like a witness, as I will be floating around the show all weekend!

Tons of great classic and modern creators will be at this show! So so many! A fantastic guest list! I will be browsing and getting signatures on personal items all weekend, like the one pictured below, my XMen Annual 14 that I plan to get 3 more signatures added to and resubmitted for CBCS grading!

Pensacon has been postponed until sometime in the fall.

This is disappointing but not unexpected under the circumstances. Once they release their new show dates, we will post it here and be ready to serve your CBCS signature facilitation needs for the show!

Not having shows to go to is really bumming us out. Hopefully next year will be much more filled with conventions, creators, signings and books again!

In the meantime, CBCS has started using their new casings and we are thrilled with them!! No more tabs. Sonically sealed all the way around. Super clear. Extremely sturdy and solid in your hands.

We just got back in a couple of foreign Spider-Man books in the new cases and they are fantastic!!

El Asombroso Hombre Arana #279 Mexican Edition CBCS 9.0 White Pages.

This was published by Editorial Novedades in 1985 and features a neat Kraven cover with Spidey obviously looking stunned or drugged from the American issue of Spectacular Spider-Man #65. The interior story is also from the same American issue as well.

This was printed on a newspaper-like paper stock, even the cover, so these issues from this era in Mexico can be VERY rare to find in such nice shape as this copy is!

If it wasn’t for the “356” written on the cover in pen on the right side, on Kraven’s arm, this may have gotten 9.4 or even 9.6 by the graders notes!

A really cool international Spider-Man book!

We are very saddened to hear of the passing of one of our great comic legends.

Joe Sinnott was a military vet, an amazing artist, and a fantastic person to meet and spend time with!

He will be so sorely missed by us and the entire comics community.

RIP Joltin’ Joe.

Here are just a few of some awesome golden oldies that we are about to submit for CBCS grading for one of our customers!

These things are so very cool and feature some pretty significant elements, like the first appearance of the Green Goblin.

And also the first published art of one Frank Frazetta!

Holy cow! We can’t wait to see these get done!

We are very saddened at the news of the passing of the legendary Batman and Green Lantern writer Dennis O’Neil.
We’ve had the pleasure of meeting Denny on a few occasions and getting signatures both for our customers and ourselves.
His writing was provocative and revolutionary back in the day, and we will miss not being able to see him again and continue to have him place his handiwork on our books.
RIP, sir. May your otherworldly travels be amazing.
