HART was proud to join Tampa Fire Rescue’s annual Hurricane Preparedness Expo last Saturday at Al Lopez Park.

The event helped City of Tampa residents access storm-readiness resources, including sandbags and emergency preparedness info. HART shared material on our Severe Weather Service, which may adjust as storms approach and evacuations are enacted.

We also met Ingrid, a true HART LEGEND and the all-time Route 1 rider on Transit! 🚌👏

🚧 HART’s Heavy Maintenance Facility is moving forward!

Join Dan Rodriguez, Project Manager III, for a quick update on Phase 1, supported by a $23.4 million BUILD Grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

This project will modernize HART’s operations through new vehicle service facilities, stormwater improvements, and enhanced security.

Phase 1 marks a major step forward in addressing one of HART’s most important infrastructure needs.

SERVICE CHANGES THIS SUNDAY 🚨

Starting Sunday, June 7, 2026, HART will implement service changes to improve service efficiency and reliability

Updates include:
⏰ Improved weekday frequency on Route 38
🔁 Schedule/routing adjustments on select routes
❌ Discontinuation of Route 24LX, Route 25LX, and HARTFlex South County

Alternative options for discontinued routes include Route 360LX (Route 24LX/Route 25LX), Enterprise Vanpool, and Sunshine Line for eligible riders.

In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, 2026, HART will operate on a Sunday schedule.

🚎 Regular bus service: Sunday schedule
🚋 TECO Line Streetcar: 7 AM – 11 PM

🏢 CLOSED: Marion Transit Center & University Area Transit Center Customer Service Centers, and all other HART offices

Congratulations to HART’s newest class of van operators! 🎓👏

Please join us in celebrating Anastasia W., Sharon B., Jacquita W., Qunajah B., Estella B., Derrick R., Logan G., and Kaytonya P.

Over the past six weeks, these new operators have completed the training needed to safely and proudly serve our community as paratransit van operators. They graduated today and officially begin on Monday, and we are excited to welcome them to the road.
