**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engine repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing various types of marine engines, including inboard, outboard, and sterndrive engines. Certifications preferred but not required
**Responsibilities:**
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in marine engines and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boats and marine equipment.
- Install and configure new marine engines and systems.
- Conduct sea trials to ensure proper operation of repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine technology and repair techniques.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of marine engines, systems, and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license; boating license is a plus.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [specific weight]).
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and on elevated surfaces.
