Yesterday marked the end of this year's NIFA Regional Competition. We competed well and gained a lot of experiences. Although we placed 6th overall, we had a few team members succeed in their events. Congratulations to Karson York on placing 10th overall in Power-off landings, to Logan Greene for placing 9th overall in the Simulator Event, and a huge congrats to Evan Vonderheide for placing 3rd overall in Aircraft Recognition! We learned a lot at this year's competition and look forward to next year when we will be hosting Regionals at KHUF. Congrats to all the teams and competitors!

After weather played a factor into today's plans being changed, we finally were able to get some practice landings in as well as some Pre-Flight and Simulator practice. Tomorrow the competition officially begins with the Navigation and Message Drop Events!
