Aruba is one of a limited number of international destinations offering U.S. Preclearance, which allows travelers to complete U.S. immigration and customs procedures before leaving the island. That means when you land in the United States, you arrive as a domestic passenger – no long immigration line, no additional customs checks. This already convenient process is now even smoother with the launch of Enhanced Passenger Processing.
Faster Departures With Smart Technology
Enhanced Passenger Processing uses secure facial biometric technology to verify travelers’ identities in seconds. Instead of repeatedly presenting documents, eligible U.S. citizens can move through preclearance more efficiently, with less waiting and fewer bottlenecks.
The system is designed to improve passenger flow and reduce congestion, making the departure experience quicker and more relaxed. Families and groups can move through the process together, and no advance enrollment or application is required. EPP is automatically available to U.S. citizens departing Aruba.
