Silver Ships has delivered the 13th Special Purpose Craft, Law Enforcement - 2nd generation to the U.S. Coast Guard maintenance facility in St. Augustine, FL, continuing to build and deliver one vessel per month. This vessel features dedicated weapon lockers on both sides that provide operators easy access when necessary.

Silver Ships has delivered the 36th 11-Meter Naval Special Warfare Surface Support Craft (Open Center Console) to the U.S. Navy in San Diego. Special warfare operators use this vessel for ocean diver insertion and swimmer support during training and maritime operations.

Silver Ships is the original aluminum Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat manufacturer in the United States, and the Ambar series is where that legacy began. Originally engineered to handle the demands of North Sea rescue operations, the Ambar has since proven itself across fire rescue, patrol, research and law enforcement missions worldwide.

Today, the series spans six hull lengths from 20 ft.-6 in. to 39 ft.-6 in. Law enforcement agencies can configure their vessel with mission-specific options including LE lighting and siren packages, custom locking weapon stowage, shock mitigating seating and full SAR navigation suites.

Material choice usually doesn’t get much attention, until it becomes a problem.
