Continuous maintenance and improvement at our railroad includes infrastructure like crossing signals. Here our signal maintainer is replacing older 8” diameter incandescent lights with newer 12” diameter LEDs at this crossing in Waterbury. The new lights will be more visible to drivers and pedestrians, and will last much longer than the old incandescent lights. Safety first is always the most important priority.
