Meet The Agronomy Center & The Painter Family - a 1st Choice Seeds Distributor!

The Agronomy Center has been serving customers in Central Pennsylvania since 1969. Their mission is to provide agricultural inputs and services to customers to make them more profitable in their operations. They strive to be trusted partners in providing what’s needed for farmers and land owners to be successful! Owner, Greg Painter, began selling seed for 1st Choice in the mid 2000s up through 2017 and then reconnected with 1st Choice in 2024.

Here’s a fun fact: In two Pennsylvania counties, you’ll find more cows than people. In addition to Fulton County, which has had more cows than residents for years, the cows now outnumber the humans in Juniata County as well.

Makes sense considering the official beverage of the commonwealth is milk.
