Non Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Wheelchair and Ambulatory Drivers

Seeking reliable , ambitious, and flexible wheelchair and ambulatory transportation drivers. This job consists of driving our clients to and from medical appointments. Punctuality is a MUST.

Previous experience in a non-emergency medical transportation position, driving 12 passenger vans, or wheelchair vans is preferred but not required.

This is a full time job.

Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check. Fingerprinting will also be required. The fees required for this process will be covered by us.

REQUIRMENTS:

Must have a valid drivers license.

For Wheelchair Drivers: must be have to lift up to 350 lbs, with assistance.

Must be able to walk up and down stairs

Must be able to navigate tablets, phones, and apps electronically.

Job Type: Full-time Ambulatory Pay: $17.00/per hour

Wheelchair Driver: $18.00/$19.00/per hour. This does vary with experience

For prospective applicants Marvel will cover the cost of the certifications.

Flexible schedule
Schedule:

Monday to Friday: day shifts and evening shifts
Saturdays

She’s currently working in the Garwood area as a 2nd grade teacher but has previously worked with, and is certified, in P-3/K-6 students.

She has worked with the Wilson and Orton Gillingham methodologies.

Individual or small pod sessions are available. Small pod sessions consist of no more than three students.

Marvel Medical Transport is looking to hire a few wheelchair drivers! We are a family owned medical transportation company operating in the Ocean, Monmouth, Middlesex, and Someret Counties. If you’re interested please send us a DM!

- MUST have a clean driving record
- MUST have clean background
- WILL certify the right non-certified candidates
- MUST be able to do heavy lifting
- MUST be able to walk up and down steps
- ONLY looking for wheelchair drivers
- MUST be able to work Saturday afternoon/evening.
- MUST have a drivers license

Any and all drivers will be considered for the position. However; drivers that have their certifications already will be given priority consideration.

Days that we are looking for:
1. M-F afternoon/evening
2. Saturday afternoon (this is non-negotiable)

Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications!
