One of my favorite things about staying at a Disney resort is that you really don’t need a car at all. This will not be surprising if you know me personally because I have an irrational fear of driving, so this is perfect for me!🚍✨

Between buses, boats, the skyliner, and the monorail, Disney transportation can get you pretty much everywhere you need to go around Disney property.

Groceries can be delivered to your resort, and there are multiple transportation options to and from the airport, so no worries if you need to go outside of the Disney bubble.

Honestly, not having to drive or figure out directions on vacation is one of the most underrated parts of staying on property 😅

Disney’s All-Star consists of 3 resorts— Movies, Music, and Sports These are the most budget-friendly options on Disney property. They all share a similar layout and amenities, with the main difference being the theming and overall vibe.

Why people love them:

• Some of the most affordable ways to stay on Disney property
• Fun, larger-than-life theming that feels very “Disney”
• Recently updated rooms with a clean, simple design
• Great option for guests who plan to spend most of their time in the parks

Good to know:

• Rooms are smaller than Moderate and Deluxe resorts
• Transportation is bus only
• Can feel busy and a little noisy, especially during peak times
• Dining options are quick-service only

Animal Kingdom Lodge feels completely different from most Disney resorts. The design is inspired by traditional African lodges, and the resort sits on a savanna where giraffes, zebras, and other animals roam just outside the rooms and viewing areas.

Why people love it:

• Seeing real animals right from your room balcony 🦒
• One of the most impressive lobbies at Walt Disney World
• Incredible dining options like Boma and Jiko
