🚧The Indiana Route #5 bus will have to detour at the South Walmart at 37th due to road construction. The Indiana bus will go straight on Topeka Blvd. to I-470 over to Burlingame. The bus shelter at Wal-Mart South will be out of service. All bus stops west of Burlingame will be out of service. The roadwork will take approximately three weeks. Can you believe that Labor Day is a week from today! So...that means that Topeka Metro will be observing the holiday on Monday, September 7th. Our employees will be happy to have a well deserved day off. We will resume regular operations on Tuesday, September 8th.

TODAY is the LAST DAY to ride Kids Ride FREE! Any youth 18 and under can ride at no cost today. Children under 5 years old should be accompanied with an adult.

We thank everyone who rode with us this summer. Learning how to ride a public transit bus may feel scary, but it is a lifelong skill once you know how to do it. We hope you will continue to ride Topeka Metro! 🌞🚍😎

Today and Monday are the last two days of our Kids Ride FREE! program. Youth 18 & under can ride at NO COST. Need to go to the mall, favorite restaurant, skate park, etc.? If it's on one of our routes, we'll get you there!

We hope the youth of Topeka had an opportunity to ride with us this summer. Learning to ride the bus is a good skill to have! We appreciate you traveling with us! !

Parents and kids--the Kids Ride FREE! program will have it's LAST DAY on MONDAY AUGUST 31st. We hope all the youth that rode with us over the summer enjoyed riding Topeka Metro. Topeka Metro uses the My Transit Ride prediction portal for live, real-time GPS bus tracking. You can view arrival times, look up specific routes, or check bus stops online. You can also text your posted bus stop ID number to 785-333-1113 for instant arrival updates. The link is https://topekametro.mytransitride.com and you can bookmark it on your computer desktop or on your mobile phone. It is not an app.

HOW TO TRACK YOUR BUS

• Go to the live Topeka Metro prediction portal on your phone or computer.
• Type a bus stop number, address, or route name into the search box.
• Tap any bus icon on the map to see vehicle details.
• Tap a bus stop to see estimated arrival predictions.
• Text a bus stop ID (on the bus sign) to 785-333-1113 if you are standing at a physical stop.

• #7 Washburn
• #17 West 17th
• #21 West 21st

Washburn Tech: Shelters are located at Huntoon at Washburn Tech, Huntoon at Chatham and Washburn Tech East on East 21st Street.
