Fred got caught in the shop this past Saturday for an impromptu talk about seacocks and how important it is to maintain them by exercising and inspecting them regularly.

Due to the rising cases of COVID-19, the Governor’s orders, and the recent ban on recreational boating, Phipps Boat Works is closing until further notice. We did not make this decision lightly as we always strive to meet our customer’s needs. However, we feel this is what we must do to keep us and our community safe and healthy. Looking For Spreaders!

We are trying to locate 4 wooden spreaders that were stored beside Phipps Boat Works at Herrington Harbour North, between our building and the FreeCycle bin. They are damaged and we are preparing to replace them. If you have them, please bring them to our office so that we can make the new ones and we will give you the old ones when done. We are sure that someone thought they were scrap but the measurements of the old spreaders are critical in repairing this mast correctly. Please share to help spread the word. Thank you!
