Busy week this week!
This customer’s transmission is shot so we pulled the engine and transmission out to make the needed repairs and to do additional maintenance while the engine is on our shop floor. This was a very tight hole and the guys did an amazing job pulling it out without any incidents!

Before jumping in the water, check the latest conditions. Arundel Rivers Federation is reporting elevated bacteria levels at several local swimming sites and signs of algal blooms in parts of the South River. A little awareness goes a long way toward a safe day on the Bay. 🌊

I had a classic Annapolis weekend on the books this week. A group of friends and their families from out of town were coming to stay. This generator was leaking oil at a very slow rate. We couldn’t see exactly where- so we added a UV dye to the oil. After the customer ran it for a few hours we were able to shine our UV light around and found that it was leaking oil out of the raw water pump rear seal.

The crew found a rotten fuel cooler today. We saw a slight leak under the engine during commissioning and uncovered this crusty cooler. Thankfully it’s taken care of and the customer is safe from a potentially major leak!
