This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

As we enjoy the holiday with family and friends, we’re grateful for the freedoms their courage secured. From all of us at Composite Yacht, thank you to those who served, and especially to those who gave everything.

As we head into the holiday weekend, we also pause to remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and commitment are the reason we enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

Friday Shop Shots is particularly special this week as we celebrate 20 years with Paulo San Juan at Composite Yacht.

Paulo and his wonderful bride are the very definition of the American Dream. They arrived from the Philippines as newlyweds with little more than determination, incredible talent, quick wit, and a relentless drive to build a better future.

Today, she is an accomplished nurse, and Paulo has become an absolute cornerstone of Composite Yacht. Welding, fiberglass, fabrication, playing music, keeping the crew laughing and on their toes - there’s truly nothing he can’t do. Along the way, they’ve also raised three remarkable boys, and we’re proud to call all of them part of our family.

This isn’t just a congratulations post. It’s a heartfelt thank you.

Thank you, Paulo, for the dedication, craftsmanship, and passion you bring every single day. Our boats are better because of you, and so are we. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your incredible journey.

Posting a rocket ship for Star Wars Day!

The CY55 is an all carbon and Kevlar, E-ticket ride packing 4,000 horsepower under the hood. Built to push the limits, her mission was clear: explore the upper realm of speed for a fully functional, straight inboard diesel sportfishing day boat.

Fully loaded at nearly 45,000 lbs, she leaves the launch pad and clears 45 MPH in just 13 seconds. At 80% load cruising altitude, she’s still flying—delivering highway speeds of 57 MPH.

This isn’t just performance. It’s precision engineering, advanced composites, and real-world fishability—at warp speed.

The Brokerage is heating up, and boats are moving!

Our latest addition to the fleet:

A classic 1980 Custom Chesapeake Bay Deadrise featuring a solid glass hull and twin 4/71 Detroits. Originally built as a DNR patrol vessel, she was purchased by her current owner in 1994 and thoughtfully converted for pleasure use, serving as a well-loved family boat ever since.
