Eric Wheatley, Member
Eric is a native of Dorchester C

ounty, Maryland and has been building and flying radio controlled (RC) model aircraft avidly for 10 years. He is a current member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), holding a valid open membership card. His experience spans RC boats, cars, helicopters, quadcopters, airplanes and jets. Eric is also an RC flight instructor to beginner pilots at his regular flying club. Along with his RC skills, Eric also has a background in basic machinist skills, design, and research and development practices. Bart Ferguson, Member
Bart has been building and flying radio controlled (RC) model aircraft for 16 years and is a native of Talbot County, Maryland. He is a current member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), and holds a valid open membership card. He has 18 years of experience in the Land Surveying profession. His additional skills include project management, global information systems, global positioning systems, and data processing software.

108 years is a long time for a sporting event to survive. When you consider an annual community based, volunteer run, narrowly focused event, the longevity is even more amazing. But, then again, one would have to understand the people of Dorchester County, their love of the water and their pride in....
