We are getting a badly needed office ✨ “Glow Up”! ✨

After a year of an ugly concrete floor in my office, we are excited to have Great Lakes Concrete Coatings at TC Travel Long Term Parking & Detailing to UPGRADE the work space. 🏠🛠️👨🏻‍🔧

Jordan’s garage flooring was completed by their company last year before we opened, and it still looks stellar — like a showroom floor! 🤩

Now it’s MY TURN! 😁 If you need this kind of work done, reach out to them!

Has anoyone seen this at Detroit Metro Airport? AMAZING TECHNOLOGY… 🤯✈️👽

This is Delta Air Lines airlines Parallel Reality Experience, a fascinating technology that allows multiple people to look at the SAME giant screen and each see completely DIFFERENT information simultaneously…

How it works:

1. You identify yourself. At the kiosk in your photograph, you scan your boarding pass and opt in to the experience.
2. The system locates you. Sensors track your position in the viewing area so the display knows where to direct your personalized information.
3. The screen sends different images in different directions. Unlike a conventional television, which broadcasts essentially the same image toward everyone, this display can direct different visual information toward different viewing positions.
4. You see your own flight information. It might display your name, destination, gate number, departure time and directions to your gate. A stranger standing several feet away can see entirely different information on the very same screen.

And here’s the remarkable part: You don’t need special glasses, a headset or an app to view the personalized display…

The really clever part: the pixels

A conventional screen pixel produces one color at a time, visible from many angles.

Misapplied Sciences developed pixels capable of emitting numerous independently controlled light rays in different directions.

For example, the same pixel can simultaneously send red light toward your eyes and green light toward someone standing beside you. Multiply that across the entire display, and each of you sees a different complete image.

The system continually adjusts as people move. Delta says it can accommodate up to 100 viewers simultaneously.

One interesting distinction: it isn’t projecting a separate image onto each person’s eyes like a laser. It’s controlling which image is visible from each viewing position.

This is one of those rare technologies that really does work almost like science fiction. 🫨
