Today we traveled to Bartlesville to grab a late lunch and just enjoy the drive and the company. We stopped off at the old train station in downtown. Rang the bell and grabbed some silly pics. Then we drove over to Pawhuska to visit the swinging bridge. Built in 1926, it was the only means available for the citizens south of town to cross Bird Creek into downtown Pawhuska. According to info online, its only been refurbished once, and that was in 1970. Although, there was lots of creaks, bounces and swings, it wasn't scary to cross. It seems to be a tradition for couples to engrave padlocks and attach to the bridge. Very interesting little piece of history.

Just found this pic buried in my phone from our trip to Gandinis a few weeks back. Probably just a phone fluke, however it does have a creepy vibe. This was inside the abandoned house and noone was standing there. The girls were behind me at this time. Odd
