Today (Tuesday, May 17) is the first day of International Roadcheck, CVSA's three-day commercial motor vehicle and driver inspection and compliance enforcement initiative. Certified inspectors in Canada, Mexico and the U.S. will conduct inspections of commercial motor vehicles and drivers over a 72-hour period. As a crude oil driver with Paisan Logistics, you'll provide the safe transportation of crude oil products from the onload site to the offload site via semi and tank trailer. You must complete thorough pre and post-trip inspections, ensure accurate measurement of crude oil by properly applying API gauging and sampling standards, and maintain elogs. Drivers typically work 5 or 6 days per week for about 12 hours per day. Drivers in Texas operate around Big Spring, TX.
