This project represents an investment in infrastructure, in safety, in jobs, and in the future of not just Tuscaloosa, but our entire region.

🏈✈️ Game Day Advisory ✈️🏈

We look forward to welcoming everyone flying in for gameday! Heavy traffic is expected, and aircraft parking may reach full capacity. Please take a moment to review the guidance below before you travel.

Arrival Planning:

🛩️ Due to heavy traffic, pilots are strongly encouraged to arrive on Friday or early Saturday morning to secure parking and reduce delays.

💡 Please coordinate early with your preferred FBO, sharing flight details, arrival time, and any service needs.

💬 FBOs manage their own ramp space, services, and fees — confirm all details before arrival.

Parking & Overflow:

🚧 Once FBO ramps fill, aircraft will be directed to overflow parking on the west side of the airfield.

🚐 Shuttle service will transport crews and passengers between overflow parking and the main terminal.

📍 7601 R. Robert Cardinal Airport Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

Ground Transportation:

🚐 The main terminal is the hub for all pick-ups and drop-offs not coordinated through an FBO.

📅 Please arrange rental cars, rideshares, or private pickups in advance, and plan to meet transportation at the terminal.

Operations & Notices:

🕗 Air Traffic Control services are scheduled through 11:00 p.m. Saturday for post-game departures.

🌦️ Pilots should continue to monitor weather forecasts and NOTAMs for any changes affecting flight or ground operations.

The Tuscaloosa National Airport is preparing for another busy game day weekend! If you’re planning to fly in, please review the following updates to help your trip go as smoothly as possible:

Arrival Planning:

🛩️ We expect to near full parking capacity this weekend. Pilots are strongly encouraged to arrive on Friday or before noon on Saturday to avoid congestion.

💡 Coordinate in advance with your chosen FBO, providing your flight details, expected arrival time, and any special requests.
💬 Each FBO manages its own services and fees — please check directly with them to confirm details that apply to your flight.
