There are several ways you can help and get involved. You could help with an event, be an active committee member, or assist with an event/project from home. You can give ideas for new events to help support our students and school staff. We understand free time is hard to come by, that’s why we greatly appreciate any time and efforts you can give.

*We encourage all parents and teachers to attend

at least one PTO meeting. Meetings are usually held at 6pm at the school on a weekday. We don’t meet on a regular basis, just as needed. Notes are sent home with students to notify parents of an upcoming meeting. Also, you can like us on Facebook to stay current with PTO happenings. “Tuscumbia PTO”

Past Resources Provided to Students and Staff
*Bought playground equipment.
*Bought new middle school lockers.
*Helped buy new H.S. High Basketball jerseys.
*Bought majority of classroom Smart Boards.
*Provide teachers classroom money.
*Provide teachers and student organizations supplies at their requests.
*PTO scholarships
*Host a public meet the candidates event for school board nominees.
*Treat teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week. Past Fundraisers and Events
*Fall and Spring fundraisers.
-Catalog fundraiser from Great American Opportunities.
-Shakespeare’s Pizza
(Always open to new suggestions for fundraising ideas!)
*Cater annual Tuscumbia Alumni Dinner.
*Cater annual Republican Banquet Dinner.
*Successfully hosted our 1st craft bazaar and hope to continue the tradition. We would love for you to be a part of the Tuscumbia Lions PTO!

We also wanted to share that this summer we were able to purchase a commercial grade nest swing for the playground in addition to making a donation towards the TV that will be installed in the elementary library soon.
We appreciate your support by frundraising so we can keep supporting our students and staff!!!!!!!!! We hope this school year will be no different in your continued support.......but a few more members wouldn't hurt.....please join the PTO!!!!!!!!!

We are happy to support our community's action to build safe and strong swimmers! We were once again able to help provide transportation to all who participated in this summer's swim lessons at Eldon pool. Thank you to all who gave their time to teach such a critical life skill!
