Full Charge Bookkeeper
Local trucking/logistics company based in Tyler, TX seeks full charge bookkeeper.

This person will work with an existing staff member in bookkeeping areas but also work independently.

Job Responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping
- Payroll Filings
- Handle all correspondence with IRS, State Taxes & Localities
- Maintain insurance policies for equipment
- Handle asset acquisitions, enter properly into QuickBooks, and maintain current registrations and titles
- Able to produce financial statements for owner and liaise with CPA

Requirements for this position include:
-Minimum 2 years experience in Bookkeeping / Accounting
-Experience in Accounts Receivable / Collections
-Experience in Accounts Payable
-Experience in Reconciliation of Accounts
-Tax Reporting and Payroll Experience (Quarterly and Annual)
-Payroll (1099 & W-2)
-Strong verbal & written communication skills
-Proficiency with QuickBooks
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook & Word

We have one driving position available for the right applicant. Must be able to haul and PROPERLY secure over size and over weight loads. Don't tell me you are a heavy hauler but can't even remove the neck on a RGN or properly stretch the trailer or if you're afraid to ask the crane operator the weight of the load because it's rarely what you were told it was gonna be. If you are afraid to ask or determine the center of gravity and know where it needs to be positioned on the trailer for weight distribution. Yes all the usual stuff is required such as passing a drug test and clean driving record but you should already know that. Must keep a clean truck and take pride in your work. Must know how to do a proper pre trip and understand the importance of maintaining correct tire pressure. This is not an entry level truck driver position. DM to speak to a recruiter!
