2023 New Member Spotlight: Chris Green for Sheriff

Chris and his family have been residents of Smith County for over three decades.
He has been in law enforcement for more than 30 years, as a state peace officer to enforce all laws of Texas. He was an active Game Warden for 20 years and served 10 years as a Special Game Warden Reserve, with much of that time spent in Smith County. He has also been a small business owner, so he can relate to the business community of Smith County. He views his candidacy as an opportunity to give back to the people by continuing to serve honestly and ethically.

All Sheriff's should stand for Liberty and against any tyranny. We can and should stand against Federal intervention and manage our own police affairs constitutionally and independently, putting principles before politics and freedom ahead of arrogance.. It's time for law enforcement officers to get back to basics of law enforcement for which their jobs were created, preserving our Constitution....Sheriff Richard Mack said it best...May each of us in this noble profession, as we pursue the guilty among us, never be guilty ourselves of the greater crime, that of violating our oath in God's name to defend the Constitutional Rights of the People for whom we work.
