Talk about a good Mother’s Day gift. I’ve got some of my mommas original artworks in the store up for grabs. If you know…you know. Each one of these are countless hours or fine art color pencil drawings.
Don’t ask… she’s not doing custom commissions. 🤪 just pieces that speak to her and inspire her enough to put them on paper.
I’d be happy to wrap these up cute as a button for you to take home, or even ship right to your door.
And remember…if you can’t afford to spend big money on your momma, she’ll love that handmade macaroni necklace just as much. It’s always the thought that counts with us. Show her some love, however you can. 🥳

I’ve got THREE different size options for these handprint flower pots. I’ll list them in the comments.
We can fit three hands on the small pots, and four to five max on the medium and large ones depending how small the kiddos are. So these are perfect to fit multiple kids on one pot for Moms, and Grandmas. All pots will come with a Creeping Jenny and a Soirée Kawaii planted.

•Y’all come and place handprints this Saturday anytime from 9-12 (May 2) and then pickup the finished product next week on Thursday and Friday (May 7th or 8th) anytime between 10-5.

Imagine it if you will. You sit down in front of a canvas, fully templated out like an adult coloring book. Have a glass of bubbles in front of you with charcuterie snacks. You write your name on the back of your canvas and away we paint...except...every five minutes a timer goes off. And the canvas that you're painting shifts to the left of you. And that happens every five minutes for an hour. You laugh, you cuss, you giggle some more, and you leave with an abstract floral painting that was Bob Ross'd by you AND EVERYONE ELSE AT THE EVENT.
The ultimate girls night out. Come alone, or bring a friend. Either way I'm excited to create with you.

It’s a big day!
It’s Autism Awareness Day AND our first birthday at The Blue.
I hope that if you’ve ever come in, to shop, to paint, to chat…you felt comfortable, cozy, and like you belong. A piece of me and a piece of you, linked for just a brief moment. And that’s been our life with Benson! Our little January born, baby Blue boy. I’ve always strived to see the beauty of the world through his eyes and do my best to make sure in every situation, he belongs. We might have to pivot and help to accommodate, but by dang he’s there and belongs.
So happy 1 year anniversary to us and happy Autism Awareness Day! 🩵🥳 A lot has changed in a year and I’m so very thankful for all the people in Bensons corner, and for those who have supported me here at the store.

So much fun with this group last night! 😍🩵 Another Mahj night of teaching in the books!
I couldn’t have done it without my momma, my baby brother who just so happens to be the best mahjong player I know, and my best friend!
