We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our operations team as a Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator!
This position plays a key role in working directly with our shipper customers, dispatching drivers, coordinating freight movement, and helping keep daily operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Work directly with shipper customers to secure and coordinate freight opportunities
- Enter loads accurately into our Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Dispatch drivers and communicate load details, pickup/delivery appointments, and updates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, drivers, and freight brokers
- Maintain positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers
- Assist with obtaining backhaul and brokered freight when needed
- Monitor load progress and help to quickly resolve service issues
- Coordinate with drivers and customers to ensure on-time service
- Maintain accurate records and operational documentation
- Provide weekly KPI/performance data reports to COO
- Support daily operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Assist and provide coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessary
