🚛 **WE’RE HIRING - JOIN OUR DISPATCH TEAM!**

We’re looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our dispatch team here at Heding.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you’ll work alongside two other dispatchers to help keep our drivers, customers, and freight moving.

What you’ll be doing:

* Working directly with customers and freight brokers
* Booking and coordinating freight
* Dispatching and communicating with our truck drivers
* Entering and updating load information
* Handling phone calls, emails, and day-to-day transportation issues
* Working closely with the rest of our dispatch team

What we’re looking for:

* Strong communication and people skills
* Comfortable working with computers and learning new software
* Organized and able to handle multiple things at once
* Dependable and willing to take initiative
* Able to work well in a fast-paced, team environment

Trucking or dispatch experience is NOT required. We’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude who is dependable, willing to learn, and wants to become part of our team. We’re willing to train the right person.

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our operations team as a Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator!

This position plays a key role in working directly with our shipper customers, dispatching drivers, coordinating freight movement, and helping keep daily operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

- Work directly with shipper customers to secure and coordinate freight opportunities
- Enter loads accurately into our Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Dispatch drivers and communicate load details, pickup/delivery appointments, and updates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, drivers, and freight brokers
- Maintain positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers
- Assist with obtaining backhaul and brokered freight when needed
- Monitor load progress and help to quickly resolve service issues
- Coordinate with drivers and customers to ensure on-time service
- Maintain accurate records and operational documentation
- Provide weekly KPI/performance data reports to COO
- Support daily operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Assist and provide coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessary
