Just pulled off a 24-hour level-up! Monday: mastered the art of galley backsplash installation. Tuesday: wrestled with the old hydraulics in the engine room. Because, you know, we also like to DIY our own boat chaos in between fixing everyone else's. Living the boat life means rolling with the waves of projects – the variety keeps us on our toes. Where is the Advil?

Love it when get such nice feedback from customers. He's right, this one was a real puzzle to solve but we got it working just in time for winter.

I hired Steven for the trickiest project of all… getting my diesel heater working again as the winter season descends upon us. One problem quickly expanded into 5 different problems to restore heat to my boat!

Sometimes we take time out from working on other boats to work on our own. Organizing all of the tools we use for Swell all in one place (out of sight) makes for a happy crew! And of course, if you have a bilge or lazerette empty you might as well paint it with some shiny new bilgekote. Looks to us!

Before and after - restoring a quality BOWMAR deck hatch with new acrylic and simply resealing is often better and less expensive than a full replacement , plus it looks sweet in this fall sunshine!

Sometimes a hatch just needs a latch.

One of this week’s quick projects: removed old hardware, straightened bent hinges, re-hung doors, cleaned, chamfered and epoxy filled the old holes and installed a new latch. Looking good!
