A bald eagle cleans up a dead fish breakfast this morning. It stayed there for 30 minutes and had a crow crowd gathering.

Paul Mazza's Fruit and Vegetable Stand in Essex with water level near the roof on the left top photo. The right top photo shows the stand more underwater. The bottom photo is farmland in the morning on the left. Farmland in the afternoon on the right. It is very hard for farmers to bring quality products to market at a reasonable price when they get hit three times with floods in a twelve month period. Just picture a farmer watching a string of dollar bills floating continuously down stream when fields are flooded.

Vandals or mischief? On Sunday night, June 2nd, someone untied all ten dock anchor lines and even untied a fender on this dock on East Lakeshore Drive. The neighbor across the street sent a message to us that the dock had broken loose. Any information on this dirty deed would be helpful. This phot was taken Saturday morning and the lines are still tied.

A private person on Malletts Bay called us to remove someone else's trash that was a navigation hazard. We almost ran over it when moving a dock. This was the dinghy that was left on the moorinmg over the winter. The ice moved out and took all of it with it. It was just below the surface about 1/4 mile from shore. Notice the "padlock shackle". We used our $500 grapnel to hook it.

Evryone had so many great photos of the eclipse. I just looked at mine and thought this was special for Malletts Bay.

Malletts Bay pollution from Crooked Creek again this year. The creek is heavy with sediment that is killing the spawning efforts of our fish. The coffee colored water smells bad too. This happened overnight on Sunday.

This is Rock Island in Malletts Bay. We have noticed geese have inhabited the island in recent years. They have consumed every blade of grass on the island and the soil is ready for erosion. Rock Island or Beer Can Island. Same island.

Malletts Bay pollution from Crooked Creek. This muddy water starts just above RT 7 next to the Button Farm.
This silt has added up to more than 1-ft on the bottom.
