This year’s CVSA International Roadcheck is May 14-16 and will focus on tractor protection systems and alcohol and controlled substance possession. Law enforcement personnel will inspect CMVs and drivers at weigh/inspection stations, temporary sites, and mobile patrols to verify compliance with federal, state, provincial, and territorial regulations.
Last year, 53,847 inspections were done. Of those inspections, 15,932 vehicles, 5,020 drivers, and 205 hazardous material out-of-service violations were found.
