We had to take care of some follow-up items this morning at high tide at our recent project. The tide level and the lighting were just right for some photos.

Details -
• 4x40 Access stairs and landings
• 5x65 Pier
• 3x50 Aluminum arch ramp
• 12x20 floating dock with duralife composite decking.

Location - Stover’s Point. Harpswell

We are headed across the bay to Orr’s Island to start our next one.

Here is our most recent job on Cousins Island, Yarmouth Maine. The customer chose a traditional wood pier, aluminum ramp, and wood floating dock. He chose 316 cable rail for the pier and stairs, plus grey Duralife composite decking for the pier and float. He also chose a Yak port kayak launcher, and a custom aluminum swim ladder for the floating dock. Another happy customer 😄!

This job on Gun Point in Harpswell is just now wrapping up.
This customer had an aging ramp and float that was never adequate for getting them deep water access. We suggested running out with a 15 foot aluminum pier to a 36 foot aluminum ramp and 10x12 float. This new system has the float farther from shore , allows for more time on the water and a safer slope at low tide with the increased ramp length. They are up a running for the weekend and very pleased with the job. Next week we are off to the Pennellville Rd. , Brunswick for another new dock system.

Two more projects completed since our last post. Both of these are traditional Pt wood piers with aluminum ramps and pt wood floating docks. The first one is on Widgeon cove in Harpswell and the second is on the west side of Mere point, Brunswick. We are headed to our fourth job of the year on Monday. Enjoy the Holiday, Bob

You haven’t heard from us in a while because we’ve been quite busy. Here is a new residential pier which is 84 feet long -made up of 2- 42 foot aluminum arches. The ramp to the float is also 42 feet. We designed and built this dock and the aluminum sections were built offsite at Dock Works in Winterport. The customer chose a composite deck board which matches the house nicely. This was used on the stairs, pier and float. We can offer the customer many different choices when it comes to a residential dock. Wood, aluminum, composite, Stainless cable rail etc.
Every new site is different , We can explain all the different options and work with your budget. Bob

Back on the water as of Saturday.. a few misc. projects and floats to build. Will start some of my annual dock installs after the 1st of April. Looking forward to an interesting year.
