ER POLICY that saves taxpayers money and she has extensive experience doing just that. Kati’s water experience started as a Water Resources Engineer at Inland Empire Utilities Agency in 1993 and she has served on the following Water Board’s creating policy at Chino Basin Water Conservation District (1999-2016), Inland Empire Utilities Agency, Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority, Chino Basin Desalter Authority and is currently serving at San Antonio Water Company, Pomona Valley Protective Association, Chino Basin Watermaster and West End Consolidated Water Company. Kati worked on the first local recycled water groundwater recharge and distribution system in the 1990s. She also created policies that created matching grants to hook up public schools and parks to recycled water in both Upland and Montclair.
