✈️ When you see smoke, stay clear of wildfire airspace. 🚫🔥

When unauthorized aircraft are spotted near wildfire smoke, all firefighting aircraft may be grounded. That means tankers can’t drop retardant, helicopters can’t carry water, and aerial suppression efforts come to a halt.

Even one unauthorized aircraft can delay operations that protect homes, communities, and natural resources. Within 15 miles of wildfire smoke, entering the airspace puts lives at risk—including yours, your passengers, and the crews working on the ground and in the air.

Flying near wildfires isn’t worth it.
✅ Stay at least 15 miles away from wildfire areas
✅ Follow FAA Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs)
✅ Protect your community by keeping the skies clear for firefighting aircraft

When you see smoke—don’t fly.
