With the help and generosity of a neighbor with a long car trailer we were able to move this historic 1929 Waco HSO out of the wildfire zone 3 on Thursday.

This is the ONLY Waco manufactured with a Packard Diesel engine. Making this one-of-a-kind biplane even more infamous this Waco HSO was in the National Air Tour in 1929-30 and Charles Lindbergh flew it! Will be a fun future project and Oshkosh contender!

Hero’s Night 2019, honoring vetrans and first responders.
Jeremy Harris flew Rosebud, a model 75 Stearman, along with Kevin Kreiter in his UPF-7 and Stu with his 450 Stearman.

The Bellanca won the outstanding closed cockpit monoplane, silver age last night. What a thrill! Have had such a wonderful time here this week and look forward to next time!!
