Yesterday was what I would call a 10 out of 10 day… highly recommend.

Mom took me on a boat in Cedar Key Florida and let me just say…
the breeze? perfect.
the views? incredible.
the attention? exactly what I deserve.

I stood up there like I owned the whole water.
Ears flapping, nose working overtime, taking it all in like a seasoned traveler.

And yes… I smiled.
Not my usual side eye… a full-on, happy, “this is the life” kind of smile.

Then… the evening really picked up.

We went out for clams (which I was personally very interested in, for obvious reasons)…
and let’s just say… I may or may not have had a fan club.

All the waitresses came over to say hi to me.
One by one.

I handled it well. Stayed humble. Accepted the attention like a professional.

Don’t worry though… I’m back to my normal programming today.
Currently lounging on the porch, judging everyone who walks by like it’s my full-time job.

Because today is a travel day…
which means Mom thinks she’s in charge again. Any guesses where she is taking me next ?

I’ll be supervising from my seat, obviously.
Someone has to make sure we stay between the lines.

Stay tuned… I’ve got my eye on everything. 👀🐾

You all know the beach is my place. The second my paws hit the sand, I come alive. I run, I sniff, I check on the waves, and I make sure my orange ball gets the attention it deserves.

There is just something about the beach that makes my whole soul happy.
The breeze, the water, the salty air, all of it.
I don’t just go to the beach... I experience it.

By the time we get back, I am the good kind of tired.

Sandy, happy, and usually giving my mom the side eye when she tells me it is time to go.
Rude!

But one thing that makes coming home a little easier is knowing what comes next... my Beach Bum Bites.

Mom makes them with Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and pumpkin, all blended up and frozen into the perfect little treat. And let me just say, they are worth every single grain of sand I bring back to the RV with me.

Beach days, wave therapy, and a frozen treat after?
That is what I call living, RIGHT?

Yesterday was a great morning for wave therapy.

I got to go to my favorite place, Venice Dog Beach, with my new friend Pearl from our RV park Southern Sands Signature RV Resort and, of course, my favorite orange ball.
Pearl was basically the mayor of the beach. She greeted every dog, made her rounds, and made everyone feel included.
That is one of the reasons I like her so much. She is everybody’s friend.

We ran, we splashed, we chased the waves, and we soaked up every bit of that morning fun.
Pearl worked the beach like she owned the place, and I handled the important things like wave therapy and keeping track of my orange ball.

By the end, I was tired, sandy, and stretched out on the beach giving Joni Leigh my best side eye when she told me it was time to go.
I mean really… a girl should be allowed to enjoy her moment.

And maybe that is why this one felt a little extra special.

Because we are getting ready to move on, and I am going to miss this beach. So this felt like the perfect last hurrah at Venice Dog Beach with a new friend, my favorite toy, and one more morning of salty air and happy paws. 🐾

Now to see where our next adventure takes us !

I hope you follow along and invite your friends with fur babies too !!

Love,

Stella

Hi. I’m Stella Bella.

I live in a house that moves.
My human calls it an RV.
I call it my rolling snack station.

We travel full-time, choosing slow roads, quiet mornings, campground sunsets, and something my human calls wave therapy, which is just my favorite thing… the ocean.
I take laps around every campground to make sure it’s up to standard. If it’s not, I’ll let you know with my side-eye.

After our adventures, I snuggle in bed because a day well traveled deserves a good cuddle. I’m also a therapy dog, which means I love meeting people, other fur babies, and making humans smile wherever we go.
Serving others is kind of my thing… I learned that from my human.

This page is RV life from four paws and a whole lot of attitude.
You’ll see road days, beach therapy, campground life, snack negotiations, and plenty of side-eye opinions.

My human is Joni Leigh. She drives the rolling house. I let her think she’s in charge… but we all know I’m the queen🐝.

If you love slow travel, dogs with opinions, ocean waves, and a little joy and sand in your feed…

You’re in the right place.

Love,
Stella Bella 🐾 (short for Stella Portabella) 🍄
