Vacay Mode with Kristin is becoming Kristin Martin Travel Co. 🌻

Over the years, my travel business has grown—and so has the way I think about what I do.

I don’t just want to help you book a vacation. I want you to feel genuinely cared for from our very first conversation until you’re safely back home.

So while the name and look are changing, the heart behind it isn’t.

KRISTIN MARTIN TRAVEL CO.
Thoughtfully planned. Exceptionally cared for.

Same Kristin. Same love of travel. Same attention to all those little details—just a brand that feels a whole lot more like me and better reflects the way I want to care for the people who trust me with their travels.

Whether it’s a Disney vacation, a cruise, a couples getaway, or that big trip you’ve been dreaming about for years, my goal is simple:

You focus on the moments. I’ll take care of the rest. 🌻

ā€œShould we do Disney or Universal this year?ā€

I get this question *all* the time — and my answer usually starts with another question:

"Tell me about your family..?"

Because the ā€œbestā€ vacation isn’t the same for everyone.

Little ones under 8? Disney usually gets my vote. There’s just something about experiencing that magic while they’re still little enough to completely believe in it.

Thrill-seeking teens? Universal may be your winner. Bigger thrills, immersive lands and plenty that keeps older kids excited.

First trip + limited vacation days? I tend to lean Disney. We can build an itinerary that packs in a whole lot of magic without making your vacation feel like a marathon.

A family of Harry Potter fans? Universal. I don’t even need to think about that one. šŸ˜‰

Can’t choose? Good news: you don’t necessarily have to. A Disney + Universal split stay can be one of my favorite Orlando vacations to plan.

And this is exactly why I don’t believe in cookie-cutter itineraries.

I want to know your kids’ ages. What everyone loves. Who wants roller coasters and who absolutely does not. Your budget. Your pace. Whether you’re rope-drop people or ā€œwe’ll get there when we get thereā€ people. šŸ˜‚

Then we build the vacation around *your family* — not someone else’s must-do list.

Planning an Orlando trip? Send me your kids’ ages + what your family loves, and I’ll tell you where I’d send you.

And when you’re ready, I’ll take care of the details so you can focus on the part that actually matters: being there together.

Disney Cruise Line understood the assignment with this one. 🚢✨

Fall 2027–Spring 2028 itineraries were released today, and there are some really exciting options for families — including the Disney Wish sailing from New York, Bermuda, Canada & New England, more Southern Caribbean itineraries from San Juan, a 14-night Panama Canal adventure and more.

Swipe through āž”ļø because I pulled out a few of the itineraries I think deserve a spot on your family’s vacation radar.

And if one makes you stop mid-swipe and think, ā€œWait… we could actually do this,ā€ send me a message. šŸ¤

Booking opens in phases beginning August 31, and this is one of those releases where having a plan before your booking day can make all the difference.

You tell me what sounds like your family’s kind of adventure. I’ll take it from there. ✨

Officially an Alaska Expert with Princess Cruises! šŸ”ļøšŸš¢

But here’s the thing about travel planning: I don’t want to simply book you a trip. I want to know the destination well enough to help you make the right choices for your family.

Which itinerary makes the most sense?
Where should you spend your time?
What should you absolutely not miss?
And where is it worth spending a little more?

That’s why I keep learning, researching, and staying up to date—even for destinations you may not have asked me about yet.

Because when you trust me with your vacation, I’m going to go the second mile to make sure you feel confident about where you’re going, how you’re getting there, and what you’ll experience along the way. šŸ¤

Alaska… I think we’re going to be seeing more of each other. šŸ”ļø

If Alaska has been sitting on your travel bucket list, let’s talk. āœˆļø

The magic of a vacation doesn't just happen when you arrive. ✨

Behind every itinerary I create is a whole lot of behind-the-scenes care.

It's checking details, watching for changes, thinking through the "what ifs," and being there when something doesn't go exactly as planned.

Because booking a trip isn't just about finding flights and hotels.

It's about having someone in your corner who knows your plans, cares about your experience, and is ready to go the second mile when you need it.

You make the memories. I'll help take care of the details. šŸ¤

Ready to start dreaming about your next adventure? Send me a message — I'd love to help make it happen. āœˆļø

A little glimpse into my own travel story... because the best travel memories are the ones that remind us why we do what we do. šŸ¤

I got into this work because I love that feeling right before a trip, when every detail is planned and all that's left to do is enjoy it.

That's the feeling I hope to give every family I work with.

You deserve to be fully present for the memories—not buried in research, reservations, and wondering if you missed something. I'll handle the details, go the second mile, and help you travel with confidence from the moment you book until you're back home.

If you're dreaming about your next trip but dreading the planning part, that's exactly where I come in.

So... where are we headed next? āœˆļø

Everyone has Disney advice... but not all of it leads to the best vacation. šŸ˜‰

Here are three things I'd never tell my clients before a Disney trip. These are some of the biggest misconceptions that can turn a magical vacation into an exhausting one.

Which one surprises you the most? šŸ‘‡

1. "Just wing it."

Disney rewards a little planning. I wouldn't tell someone to show up without:
..Knowing how Lightning Lane works (if they plan to use it)..Having a rough park plan..Understanding park hours, entertainment schedules, and dining options

You don't need a minute-by-minute itinerary, but a flexible game plan can save hours of waiting.

2. "You have to do everything."

This is one of the biggest mistakes first-time visitors make. Trying to cram every ride, show, and restaurant into one trip usually leads to exhausted kids (and adults).

Instead, I'd encourage guests to:
..Pick their "must-dos."..Leave room for spontaneous moments...Accept that not doing everything gives them a reason to come back.

Some of the best Disney memories happen when you're not rushing to the next attraction.

3. "Don't waste time taking breaks."

Especially if you're traveling with kids (or during warmer months), breaks are part of the strategy—not lost time.

Whether it's:
..Going back to the resort for a swim,..Enjoying a leisurely lunch,..Watching a parade with a snack,..Or simply sitting on Main Street with a Mickey bar,

those slower moments often become favorite memories. A rested family is almost always a happier family.

✨ If you're dreaming of a Disney vacation that's less stressful and more magical, I'd love to help you plan it from start to finish.

One of these comes with a book and beach time.
The other comes with 47 browser tabs and regret.
