Christy Ann Nava, 53 passed away on Sunday December 22,2024, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 28, 2024, at 1100am at First Methodist Church with Rev. Anthony Inmon officiating. Burial will follow at the Eastview Cemetery....

Heartbreaking Mom Update:

As of today, the team of Drs came by and told us that mom has cancer. It has spread to her spine and brain as well as her spinal fluid. They hope to do a biopsy tomorrow and then we will have more details by next week. We will be in the hospital in Dallas for atleast another week.

The cancer is causing the spinal fluid to rapidly multiply which is causing all of her symptoms. They have a catheter in her back draining the fluid to help keep the pressure down.

Please keep us in your prayers. To keep mom comfortable and help us all understand all of this imformation. She was cancer free for just a few short months.

I wanted to give everyone an update as some don’t have my personal Facebook for updates.

We will be closed until further notice.

UPDATE ON THE UPDATE:
We were accepted to United Reg in Wichita Falls and should be leaving within the next couple hours.

Update on mom…
She didn’t get to go home yesterday and is progressively getting worse.

About an hour ago I was talking to her and she went unresponsive and started bleeding out of her eye. After lots of sternum rubs and beating on her chest she came back to.

The dr said it’s something more than just her neck and she needs to see a neurologist now.

He wanted to transfer to United Reg but they are full. They are making phone calls all over to see who can take her and when.

At this time, please no visitors. The nurse wants to limit any stress or over stimulation to her. She heard everyone talking and it threw her into another slight episode.

Just please pray for answers and for our family.
If you have any questions, just reach out to me as she has no idea what’s going on at this point.

Some know and some don’t. Yesterday my mom Christy was taken to the hospital via ambulance. She has been admitted to the hospital. Due to not know what this week holds, we will be closed again this week. We do apologize but we will be open as soon as possible. Thank you all for your patience. We are going crazy not being able to see all of y’all and make some yummy sandwiches but in due time we will be back and better than ever.

We will be closed for 1 more week. We are trying to get my mom back up and going and she needs 1 more week to recover. I’ll be back open regardless on November 12th.
