History:
Kaplan Tarps and Cargo Controls began manufacturing tarps and covers over a century ago in Williamsport PA. In the years since we have come a long way and in 2009 we expanded into a new location in Manchester CT. Despite the inevitability of growth and change it has always been our tradition to bring the highest quality to our manufacturing. It is that same tradition that has helped carry

us for over a century, and we have no doubt that it will carry us forward for many years to come. Products:
Whether you need one flatbed tarp or a large order for your fleet, an athletic field cover or someone to tackle your toughest custom job, Kaplan has the years of experience and customer input to manufacture each client's product just right for its application. We manufacture most of our own products in house which affords us the flexibility to better customize a solution for each individual client. It is that combination of knowledge, flexibility, and providing greater quality for the cost that makes Kaplan a great choice for your custom covering and cargo control needs. Some additional examples of both custom and stock items that we specialize in are as follows: covers and tarps for all industries, tarping systems for dump trucks, open top trailers and dumpsters, privacy fencing, pallet covers, stockpile covers, shelter covers, and gym floor covers. Kaplan has a full service shop offering tarp and tarping system repairs, and installation services. Delivery:
You can pick up your order at our facility, let us install it for you, or have your order delivered to you. Kaplan Tarps ships every day via UPS and several LTL trucking companies.

Eversource came to us looking for custom truck bed covers. We have created a quick-mount, easily removable tarp system for multiple trucks in their repair and generation divisions. The cover can be quickly removed, folded, and stored in the back seat.

New installation by one of our distributors of the Kaplan-manufactured King of Covers kit system. We outfitted this truck with rectangular tubing arms constructed from steel featuring bent arms and powder coated. We are constantly innovating to enhance our products, and this is just one of many beautiful updates on the best hydraulic tapping system on the market.

Took a trip into Boston for a concert but couldn’t resist going to see our work in action. This new building construction is currently using our construction tarps to enclose their job site. We create tarps and custom covers for industries across the board and love a challenge. Come test our skillset and get a tarp built to last.
