You all know I try to share as many fundraisers to help first responders in need to my socials, but this one is super close to home. Please read below and donate to the Venmo fund if you can to help this fellow firefighter out:

Tonight, we made the call that no one ever wants to receive a fire at the home of one of our own. However, the response was exactly what I have come to expect: a rapid response, with people coming out of the woodwork to improve the outcome and save the life of a man’s best friend. You all answered the call, and we were successful in our mission.

That said, Lieutenant Bryan Arnett’s home will require significant work to repair the damage and restore his belongings. Tonight, I am asking each of you to rally around him and show the love, support, and brotherhood that this line of work was built on. Please keep Bryan in your thoughts and prayers as he navigates the days ahead.

The FOF has provided Bryan with a room at the Holiday Inn for the next three nights, but I would like us to go above and beyond that. My goal is to raise enough funds to help cover his insurance deductible and any unforeseen expenses he may face over the coming weeks and months.

I have attached the FOF’s Venmo information, and there will also be a boot available at Station 1. Their venmo tag is:

all proceeds will go directly to him.

Thank you for answering the call tonight for your brother. Let’s help keep his head up and show him what we are truly about.

Thank you VFD
