Another epic day offshore out of Virginia Beach today with my boy's on the Flyin Fish!!! We started the day with a triple of White Marlins!!! Then We caught 2 Blue Marlin's back to back!! Then we caught a Sailfish for the slam followed by 3 more Sails which gave us a Double Grand Slam!!!! For those that don't know a grand slam is catching 3 different species of billfish in one day. I have only done this a few times in my life. But today's double Grand Slam is a first for me in quite a few years of fishing!!!! It was definitely a special day !!!! The fish are here!!!! The C-level is full of fuel and ready to go!!! 757-236-5000

Got to take my buddy Hunter offshore yesterday with his friends and family for his bachelor party. He wanted some dolphins and we got lucky and found some for him. We caught a nice yellowfin at the end of the day also. The Billfish eluded us again yesterday except for a late afternoon white marlin on the teaser that didn't switch off. We have some beautiful weather coming up and the fishing should be getting better and better. Give us a shout. 757-236-5000

Wow! The summer is flying by as usual. I got way behind on my fishing reports. I just want to thank everyone that's fished with us this summer, we have had some awesome people as usual and I appreciate all of you!! We've been fishing about every day, mostly inshore but we have gotten offshore a few times. I fished the WMO with my good friends on the Cricket. We had slow fishing but did see a few and caught a nice Blue Marlin. Since then we have had the pleasure of taking some first time anglers offshore for the first time. The first trip the Sailfish got the best of us but we did manage a nice White Marlin for one of the young men on the trip. The next trip we found some dolphins for some young anglers and ended up getting one of them, Jaxson his first Sailfish!! The last offshore we took a Father and Son for their first offshore trip. We jumped a Blue Marlin off early unfortunately but we ended up getting the Father Jeff his first White Marlin and his Son Josh his first Sailfish. The fishing offshore has been steady with Sailfish and White Marlin action being steady to good most days. There's also been some dolphins/Mahi's and Blue Marlin's around also. Inshore the Mackeral and Bluefish have been thick and we've had some good red drum action also. We have plenty of days open and the fishing offshore should be getting really good the next few weeks. I have 3 guys that want to do a make up trip offshore this Friday and we are open also. Give us a shout and lets go fishing!!! 757-236-5000

Wow what a day we had yesterday!!! After being inshore fishing (which has been awesome also) for a week we got to go back offshore yesterday with the Shelfer family. 3 generations to be exact, Grandma, Grandpa, Son Scott and Grandson Spencer. Scott booked me a few days ago and said he wanted to take his son on an adventure. Little did they know they were in for one. We started the day hitting a submerged piling under the rudee inlet bridge. Luckily we didn't mess anything up and we're able to still go fishing. Then when we got almost to the fishing grounds my port motor started to overheat. Ended up being the impeller. After an hour or so changing it out for the spare I realize the spare I had wasn't compatible for that motor. No big deal I have others, well they weren't on the boat after tearing the boat apart looking I realized I didn't have any others on there anymore. Thinking I was going to have to head home on one engine I look up and there's my buddy Wayne Evans from Wachapreauge that has the same engines in his boat. And he said he had a spare and would float it over to us. As usual Wayne was on em and we watched him catch 2 White Marlins while trying to find the spare impeller and float it over to us. By the time we got the right impeller in and got fishing it was way after 10 o'clock and the morning bite was dying down fast. We caught some dolphins off a log for a while while a thunderstorm rolled thru the whole time. Finally it cleared up and we got fishing again. We got lucky and finally got a Marlin bite around 1:30 and caught our first one. Then we caught 2 more real quick seeing another fish. Then we got wolf packed and held onto 2 out of 3 or 4. We ended the day with another single off the teaser which gave us 6 White Marlins for the afternoon out of probably 8 or 9 bites and saw a couple more. Watching this family catch fish together and enjoying it so much after the morning we had really made me and my mate Cadens day!! A huge thank you to Wayne Evans and his Crew for saving our day. And a huge thank you to the Shelfer family!! The Marlin's are here and so are the Mahi's!!! Lots of fish caught yesterday!!! Let's Go !!!! 757-236-5000

We finally got back offshore yesterday on the C-level with Ron and his brother Steve and Ron's son. We went way offshore to where the fish were on Thurs and Fri but there wasn't much out there unfortunately. A couple boats were having good action back in on the edge so we ran back in there mid day. The bite had slowed down by the time we got back in there but we were able to catch 1 out of 2 White Marlin's getting Steve his first Marlin. One boat found a couch floating holding lots of dolphins so we went and caught a few of them real quick. My guys just wanted a couple for dinner but there was plenty more there. The wind picked up as forecasted at the end of the day and kind of shut the bite down but there was great marlin fishing for those boats especially in the morning. It seems to be shaping up to be a great Marlin season and it's just getting started. The dolphins/mahi's are also here already. Give us a shout and lets go!!!

They're Here!!! Fished with my friends on the Sea Trader today. We went to some water that had pushed in from the north east and found a few Marlins. The day started out slow but they started biting this afternoon. We ended up catching 5 out of probably 9 White Marlins and saw a couple more that wouldn't eat, one was a Blue Marlin. It was a beautiful day out there with great people!! We have plenty of days open let's go fishing!!! 757-236-5000
