It's hard to believe we're turning 24...

For the first 5 years we called LüSa "The Experiment". Because we weren't sure this idea would work. Would anyone want what we were making? Was it too niche? Too weird? Too... me?

As it turns out, it wasn't. (Or possibly it was, but you were just weird enough to 'get' it.)

What we did then and do now is humble, simple, and done with integrity: We make high-quality products you can trust, and we keep it in budget for as many families as possible. And honestly, that's a joy like I never expected to find.

Since we launched in 2002, we have:

Gone 100% palm oil- and palm oil derivative-free
Radically reduced our plastic use
Addressed the ethics of sustainable essential oil use
Planted over 3,000 trees
Published two awesome books!
Donated hundreds of pounds of soap, balms, and other necessities to folks in need

And we did so without losing our humanity, our sensitivity, or selling our souls. We think that's a giant win.

I started LüSa Organics as a young mom who wanted meaningful work to do while stepping away from my career to parent my baby. What I found was so much more.

24 years in, and what can I say? Thank you. Thank you for being a part of LüSa Organics. For trusting us with some of the most intimate and tender moments of your lives, for voting for our family with every purchase. We're small, we're scrappy, and we're far from perfect, but we're authentic, we're human, and we're made of so much heart. And I feel like you see that, and that's why you've stuck around.

What an honor that truly is.
