All eligible voters are invited to attend the Meet the Candidates Forum on Thursday, August 27 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wadena Memorial Auditorium 249 Dayton Ave SW, Wadena, MN 56482
This forum is an opportunity to hear directly from individuals who will appear on the November ballot. Come listen to their perspectives, ask questions, and participate in the democratic process that strengthens our community. All state and federal candidates have been invited.

A member reported a potential scam call from someone identifying himself as “Luis,” a consumer advocate claiming there were errors on the member’s electric bill that needed to be corrected before the next billing cycle.

This is NOT legitimate. He is NOT associated with Todd‑Wadena Electric Cooperative.

If you receive a call like this from "Luis" or any other "consumer advocate":
• Do not share any information
• Do not confirm account details
• Hang up immediately
