What an incredible evening at the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club Forty in the Forest.

The impact this organization continues to make in our community is truly inspiring.

One of the greatest unexpected blessings of the night was reconnecting with a former student and her amazing parents. More than 13 years ago, I was her teacher in a children's group called the Daisies. Last night, I watched her stand before a room full of people as the 2026 Youth of the Year and share her story with such grace, strength, and confidence.

Seeing the little girl I once taught grow into such a powerful young woman impacted me more than words can express. I am so grateful to have been in the room and to be part of a such a supportive community and organization that changes lives every day. 💙✨
